Veteran D-FW builder Bill Darling heads to Celina’s Light Farms for new project
A start-up Dallas-Fort Worth homebuilder with deep roots in the area has landed its first location.
Tradition Homes was founded this year by veteran Dallas-area builder Bill Darling and his family. Tradition Homes is beginning its first project in the Light Farms community in Celina and has two more D-FW locations in the works.
"We are going to have a real opportunity in this market because everybody knows us," said Darling, one of the founders of longtime local builder Darling Homes.
Darling and his brothers sold Darling Homes in 2013 to Arizona-based Taylor Morrison Homes. He no longer has any affiliation with the company, which still builds in the area.
