Tradition Homes offers a 3% commission on the home’s final sales price, subject to terms of the Real Estate Broker Fee Addendum. Commission is paid to your brokerage at closing.
Commission is calculated on the home’s final sales price (not just the base price) as described in the Purchase and Sale Agreement and Real Estate Broker Fee Addendum.
You and your brokerage must be identified in the Real Estate Broker Fee Addendum included with the buyer’s Purchase and Sale Agreement. The addendum must be completed and signed as part of the original contract process. Please coordinate with your Community Sales Manager before your buyer signs the contract to ensure your information is included.
Yes. If you are representing the buyer, you must have a written buyer representation agreement that complies with applicable Texas law and brokerage requirements.
No. Tradition Homes uses DocuSign for Purchase and Sale Agreements, allowing contract documents to be signed electronically. You must, however, be identified in and sign the Real Estate Broker Fee Addendum as part of the original contract process. A REALTOR® cannot be added after the buyer’s Purchase and Sale Agreement has been executed.
Commission paid to your brokerage cannot exceed the compensation authorized in your buyer representation agreement. If your agreement specifies less than 3%, please notify your Community Sales Manager before contract signing so the Real Estate Broker Fee Addendum reflects the appropriate amount.
Real estate commissions are not set by law and are fully negotiable. Commission eligibility and payment are governed by the executed Real Estate Broker Fee Addendum and applicable requirements.
